About #DoYouGiveARuck?
Located in Vero Beach, Florida, #DoYouGiveARuck? is a dedicated group of military veterans and supporters committed to improving the lives of veterans. Our mission is to raise public awareness and fundraise for organizations that provide programs and services specifically designed to support veterans.
Many service members returning from the Global War on Terror are facing significant challenges as they transition back to civilian life. Struggling with unemployment, homelessness, or the trauma of their experiences, these veterans often find it difficult to adjust to life after the hardships of military service. In these critical moments, a little help can make all the difference, and our organization is here to provide that support when it's needed most.
Our primary method of support is through organized Ruck Marches along Florida’s Treasure Coast. These public events are designed to raise funds through sponsors and collect essential materials, such as food, school supplies, and other necessities, from participants. These donations are then redistributed to organizations with programs that directly assist veterans and provide life-saving resources.
In addition to direct assistance, we recognize that veterans often feel disconnected without a mission. #DoYouGiveARuck? offers young veterans an opportunity to engage in meaningful work with an organization that understands the military culture. This sense of purpose is particularly valuable for those who have been injured and feel isolated or disconnected from society.
We invite you to show your support and become part of our mission by participating in one of our upcoming events. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of those who have served our country.
