#what's a ruck?

A ruck march is a fast-paced march over distance while carrying a load. It’s a fundamental exercise for military personnel and is also becoming a popular activity in the civilian world. Known as a Loaded March, Forced Foot March, or Hump, it’s an essential part of infantry life, helping build fitness and enabling the movement of troops and supplies over long distances. It’s a key capability for completing many military missions.

At #DoYouGiveARuck?, we’re taking this tradition and transforming it into a mission to improve the lives of veterans. The funds raised from our sponsors, as well as the items you pack in your rucksack to donate after the march, directly support our programs that are dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of veterans.

Will you join us on this journey and help us achieve our mission? Together, we can create lasting change for those who have served.
